MA Guest Lecture with Charan Singh

Join our current MA students for this guest lecture from Charan Singh all about his research and practice, which are informed by his involvement with HIV/AIDS work and community activism.
Using the mediums of photography, video and text to explore his ‘pre-English language’ life, he creates artistic resistance through storytelling and fictional fragments to express multi-layered gender experiences and the ephemeral nature of queer desire.
Game Audio – Scoring and Implementing ‘Planet of the Apes Last Frontier’

Join Course Leader for BA (Hons) Games Art & Design and BSc (Hons) Games Development, Steven Coltart, for a talk about his own practice.
Steven is an Audio Designer of emotionally charged, cinematic music who works across feature films, short films, and video games, most notably composing the soundtrack for Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation Blockbuster PlayStation and XBOX release PLANET OF THE APES: LAST FRONTIER, developed by the Imaginati at Ealing Studios and EP’d by Andy Serkis.
Diagrammatic (Re)Thinking: How to position your practice conceptually and contextually

Join MA Fine Art Senior Lecturer, Desmond Brett, for this workshop where you will be challenged to rethink the diagram as a way of articulating your work, your methodologies and the contextual field you are operating in.
It is also intended as a challenge to think more laterally around your particular line of creative enquiry.
