In this lecture Norwich University of the Arts Dean of Arts & Media, Professor Richard Sawdon Smith explores his career as a photographer and looks at how new digital technologies and the convergence of media have blurred the boundaries of what photography is in the 21st century, instigating an explosion of the ‘photographic’ image in our daily lives. From the 2D to the 3D, Professor Sawdon Smith provides a personal insight into his working practice and shares his current research investigating the body in virtual reality.
