Apply through Clearing – students from Malaysia

It’s not too late to apply to start an undergraduate course in September 2019 at Norwich University of the Arts (NUA).

This page has dedicated Clearing information for applicants from Malaysia, guiding you through applying for an arts, design, architecture or media degree course at NUA.

Undergraduate courses

Our courses are available as a three year or four year degree course.

How to apply

You can apply for any undergraduate courses online via UCAS and or you could apply to the University via an application form.

Entry requirements

Students from Malaysia are required to hold an English language qualification. Students should have a minimum IELTS exam score of 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each section.

Equivalent English language qualifications are acceptable, SPM 1119 English Language Grade C, IB English language syllabus A or B/English Literature (Grade 4).

Undergraduate academic requirements

Year 0 entry

We offer four year degrees across all of our undergraduate courses. They have lower academic requirements to the typical three year degrees. If you would like to discuss the entry requirements for Year 0 entry contact the International Office to discuss in more detail.

Year 1 entry

Qualification Requirement
International Baccalaureate 32 points
A levels For BA courses – B, B, B
For BSc courses – B, B, B
Foundation Diploma in Art & Design Merit
STPM (Malaysia Higher School Certificate) An average of 75% or above in the first year

After applying

After completing your application, you will need to submit a digital portfolio of creative work and take part in an interview via Skype with an Admissions Officer or Course Tutor. We’ll be able to guide you through this application process.
