Norwich University of the Arts (NUA) has been ranked 61st out of 127 institutions nationwide in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016, after a change in restrictions allowed it to be included for the first time.
Professor Neil Powell, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) at NUA, says: “NUA is delighted to be in the Sunday Times Guide and to be above its specialist rivals such as the University of the Arts London. Our position in the top 10 modern universities confirms our potential to be a world leading specialist university within the city.”
The Good University Guide is published on 20 September, containing profiles of all universities and the leading colleges of higher education. The league table is made up of nine indicators including student satisfaction with teaching quality and their wider university experience, research quality, graduate prospects, entrance qualifications held by new students, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, service and facilities spend, and degree completion rates.
Staff and students featured in NUA press releases are available for further comment.
Our academic staff are leading practitioners and researchers in the fields of the arts, design and media. They are available to provide expert comment on regional, national and international news stories related to higher education and the creative arts.
All camera crews and photographers need advance permission to operate on the NUA campus. Alternatively the University has a wealth of photography and footage which can be provided on request.
Members of the press are welcome to attend all events at NUA. Most exhibitions on the campus, including the Degree Shows, will have a private view event in advance of the public opening for the press and special guests. Details of these events are available on request.
We are delighted to arrange campus tours and on-campus interviews with staff and students.
