Norwich University College of the Arts has announced that it will set its 2012/13 tuition fees at £8,500, subject to approval by the Office of Fair Access.
Commenting on the proposed fee, Vice-Chancellor Professor John Last said:
“In setting a fee of £8,500 the University College will provide future students with the high quality teaching and resources expected from a specialist institution. This reflects our continued commitment to providing industry-standard facilities, which ensures our students are able to secure employment when they graduate.
“Students will not have to pay anything up front. The tuition fee loan will only be repayable by graduates once they have left Higher Education and are earning at least £21,000. In order to ensure that the most talented students can study at NUA, irrespective of financial circumstances, we are committed to provide a comprehensive package of support including scholarships and bursaries.
“Our new fee level will ensure that students continue to get the high quality specialist arts university experience that we currently provide and that our graduates continue to go on to successful careers in the creative industries.”
Staff and students featured in NUA press releases are available for further comment.
Our academic staff are leading practitioners and researchers in the fields of the arts, design and media. They are available to provide expert comment on regional, national and international news stories related to higher education and the creative arts.
All camera crews and photographers need advance permission to operate on the NUA campus. Alternatively the University has a wealth of photography and footage which can be provided on request.
Members of the press are welcome to attend all events at NUA. Most exhibitions on the campus, including the Degree Shows, will have a private view event in advance of the public opening for the press and special guests. Details of these events are available on request.
We are delighted to arrange campus tours and on-campus interviews with staff and students.
