Books go on public display

A set of award-winning books that have been donated to the Norwich University of the Arts library will go on display to the general public in an exhibition of design excellence in the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library from Wednesday 13th October.

Alcuin Award winning entries

The Canadian Alcuin Society has donated 30 titles which were selected as winners from 252 entries in its 28th annual Awards for Excellence in Book Design in Canada. The Exhibition in the Millennium Library will be open to the public between 9am and 8pm (9am-5pm Saturday, closed Sunday) until Friday 22nd October.

Copies of the books have gone on exhibition internationally at the Frankfurt and Leipzig Book Fairs in Germany and at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo Japan in conjunction with the Tokyo International Book Fair. The books will also be exhibited in 19 venues across Canada. Categories included Children, Pictoral, Poetry, Prose Fiction and Reference.

On campus filming and photography

All camera crews and photographers need advance permission to operate on the NUA campus. Alternatively the University has a wealth of photography and footage which can be provided on request.


Members of the press are welcome to attend all events at NUA. Most exhibitions on the campus, including the Degree Shows, will have a private view event in advance of the public opening for the press and special guests. Details of these events are available on request.
