Evening Technician: 3D Arts

12 hours per week (4.00 pm to 7.00 pm) up to 6 weeks per term
£9.70 to £10.87 per hour

We are committed to delivering a high quality student experience, and have a new vacancy for a member of technical support staff to join our successful team in the 3D Workshop, providing specialist resources to support the creation and realisation of three-dimensional student work utilising a wide range of materials, including metals, clay, plaster, wood, wax, resin and some plastics.

The successful candidate will be a skilled Technician with proven professional experience of creative 3D working in a commercial or Higher Education environment.

The successful applicant will be proficient in a range of 3D skills and able to support students to produce high quality results.

Our academic staff are leading practitioners and researchers in the fields of the arts, design and media. They are available to provide expert comment on regional, national and international news stories related to higher education and the creative arts.

On campus filming and photography

All camera crews and photographers need advance permission to operate on the NUA campus. Alternatively the University has a wealth of photography and footage which can be provided on request.


Members of the press are welcome to attend all events at NUA. Most exhibitions on the campus, including the Degree Shows, will have a private view event in advance of the public opening for the press and special guests. Details of these events are available on request.
