Teacher CPD – Textile Design: Applique & Positive Communication

Join BA Textile Design Part-time lecturer, Clare Sams for this hands on making workshop.
Book your free place (opens in a new window)This session will encourage participants to reflect on the past term and consider the various devices and methods of communication they have used to teach and stay connected. Participants will initially create a range of sketches and from these will develop fabric collages using appliqué.
This aims to be a restful session to help you reflect and wind down at the end of a hectic term!
What materials do I need?
We have now reached capacity for the mailout of the first 100 bookers of this workshop but, if you have access to all of the below materials, you are welcome to join us for the workshop.
You will need to provide:
- Paper
- Drawing Materials
- Scissors
- Ironing board and iron
Materials we were providing:
- Bondaweb
- White cotton
- Greaseproof paper
- Fabric scraps
