Led by Jon Dunleavy, Lecturer in BA Animation, you will explore the processes that underpin good character design, not only for animation but also other mediums such as illustration and games design.
This workshop can be used across other subject areas, for example to encourage young people to engage with what life would be like in certain periods of history or living in different countries.
2-3pm Jess Nash Poster Design Workshop
An Illustration workshop based on a commission by Penguin Random House UK to design posters celebrating 70 years of Windrush contributions to the UK.
This workshop demonstrates how different subjects such as social history, geography and art come together in one brief and can inspire your work as a creative professional. Jess will be setting and taking participants through the same brief.
Teacher, Technician and Adviser Series
Don’t forget, NUA are also hosting their online Teacher, Technician and Adviser Workshop Series, 17 June – 2 July.
