Network of East Anglian Art Teachers (NEAAT): CPD meeting
Saturday 28 September 2019
10.00am-2.00pm, NUA, Duke Street building
NEAAT believe the arts are special in our region and that art teachers need to be part of an empowering and enriching network of fellow educators that can support and help develop an exciting provision for students.
In such large geographical areas some teachers find themselves isolated or simply don’t have the time to meet others – NEAAT is an opportunity to support each other, share ideas and promote creativity.
All art educators are welcome from primary to higher education, state or private schools.
The arts are broad and we welcome teachers of all endorsements and all creative subjects who feel they wish to share ideas and learn from others.
Schedule for 28 September (subject to change):
Arty Virtual Brunch icebreaker: share your challenges and solutions; creativity and innovation; focus and impact.
Looking at Finer Details: collage and printing workshop based on the city of Norwich. Note: wear comfortable shoes, bring a bag and a way of taking photographs.
Building a live project brief: linking art in the classroom to the world of work and potential careers
Generating ideas, the art of serendipity: developing activities through creative play and exploring visual literacy
