Jon Dunleavy

Jon has worked as a director/producer in the animation industry for ten years. Whilst represented by Oscar winning Tandem Films Jon worked on numerous high profile commercial projects for clients including The Times, Carphone Warehouse and The Royal Mail. Helen Piercy

Helen Piercy, is a multidisciplinary filmmaker and award winning children’s author. With degrees in Graphic Design (BA Hons) and Animation Direction (MA-The National Film and Television School) Helen began her career working as a freelance animator in London before launching her own business as a filmmaking educator. She has previously lectured at the NFTS and acted as student mentor for Central Saint Martins MA Character Animation. Read Helen’s profile.

Professor Suzie Hanna

Senior Lecturer

Professor Suzie Hanna

Suzie Hanna teaches undergraduate, Masters and Postgraduate research students at NUA. She conducts international collaborative research projects and maintains her professional practice focusing on interfaces of language, moving image and sound design. She is secretary of NAHEMI and a member of the AHRC peer review college. She undertakes national and international examination and consultancy as well as developing innovative live projects and platforms for NUA students. Read Professor Hanna’s staff profile.
