Having started my teaching career in further education over 20 years ago, I moved towards Initial Teacher Training and working in higher education. Having a passion for teacher education I have managed and taught on the following courses: Certificate in Education, Professional Graduate Certificate in Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Postgraduate Certificate teaching in Higher Education, BA (Hons) and MA Education and Professional Development. I have also supported staff with completion of their Professional Recognition applications. My research relates to supporting teachers, particularly mentoring for teachers, and I am interested in the disposition of women teachers and stress/worklife balance.
