Royal Institute of British Architects President visits Norwich University of the Arts

Anthony Hudson and Jane Duncan stand in NUA lecture building

NUA Visiting Professor Anthony Hudson welcomed Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) President, Jane Duncan to campus in May 2016.

The visit included a tour of NUA’s RIBA award winning building, Boardman House where students and staff showcased the learning space and studio. Boardman House, originally a Victorian Sunday school, was transformed by Hudson Architects into an inspirational learning and collaborative space for NUA students.

The trip was combined with the AGM of the Norfolk Association of Architects hosted at NUA and a tour of Norwich’s architecturally renowned spaces.

Anthony Hudson, President of Norfolk Association of Architects and Director of Hudson Architects said: “It is a pleasure to welcome Jane Duncan to Norwich, to meet local architects and see for herself some of the city’s best new buildings – including of course our own School of Architecture for Norwich University of the Arts.”
