Web Services Developer

The Web Services Developer will play a central role in the development and expansion of the University’s range of online resources, both public facing and internally.

A successful track record will demonstrate planning, development and delivery of web based systems and services for a variety of organisations. Your expertise and skillset will enable the design and implementation of secure systems ensuring a reliable, high-quality user experience.

You will plan, develop and deliver a comprehensive set of web and internet services to support the University’s strategy for teaching and learning, improving the student experience and help to underpin efficient administration and business development within the University.

The Web Services Developer will be accountable for the ongoing maintenance and administration of the University’s existing online systems, with supervisory responsibility for the Web Services Administrator in ensuring accurate and current content.

Working as part of the Business Services Team you will establish good communications with Academics, Marketing and Professional Services colleagues to understand the University’s vision that will inform the design of the online resources and ensure that NUA is at the forefront of web based services.

This role comes with a competitive salary and an excellent defined benefit pension scheme to which the University currently contributes an additional 19.5%.

Salary: £32,548 to £38,833 per annum
