Teaching Resources Manager
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Teaching Resources Manager to promote, support and manage the technical workshop resources across the campus to support contemporary teaching delivery and a high-quality student experience of technical provision in our varied range of working environments.
You will have overall responsibility for the technician staff and facilities in four key areas of operation – Arts, Design, Architecture, Media, including Fashion and Textiles. The University has a wide range of workshop and technical resources that support a diverse range of creative disciplines including Architecture and Acting, through to Film, Fine Art, Games, and Visual Effects.
The post holder will have line management responsibility for the Workshop Managers and overall coordination of a large team providing technical support, instruction and advice to students across all courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The post holder will be responsible for obtaining equipment specifications, and making recommendations for lease or purchase to ensure the continuing academic relevance of our courses and value for money.
You will assist the Director of Digital Strategy and Resources with appropriate advice on digital resources and the further development of NUA’s virtual teaching and learning environments.
You will liaise with the Estates, Professional Services and IT service areas to ensure an integrated approach to digital and physical learning resources in support of academic delivery.
