Research and Repository Administrator (REF)

We are seeking to appoint a Research and Repository Administrator to support the preparation of the University’s submission to the Research Excellence Framework 2021 (REF).

The postholder will be responsible for managing the preparation of data for the University’s REF Impact Cases studies, impact templates and environment statement.  In addition, the successful candidate will operate the University’s Open Access policy and manage the NUA research repository.

Applicants will be flexible team players with the ability to coordinate and manage information and data collections, working to clearly defined deadlines.  The postholder will be self-motivated and an efficient organiser, keen to develop their expertise to support and analyse academic research.

You will have experience of working in Higher Education and an understanding of academic research and the requirements of the Research Excellence Framework.

The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, explaining complex regulations and procedures in a clear and concise way to a range of internal and external audiences is essential.

The successful candidate will be able to use their own initiative, problem-solve effectively and manage their time to meet strict deadlines.

26 hours per week, fixed term to 31st December 2020

Salary: £16,397 to £18,990 per annum
