Part-time Hourly Lecturer – Visual Effects (VFX)

Our BA (Hons) VFX degree is guided by an Industry Liaison Group made up of the major UK companies including The Mill, Framestore, MPC, as well as key advisors like the UK Screen Alliance and Creative Skillset. We also have masterclasses from some of the best VFX companies in the world, ILM, MPC and DNEG have all delivered specialist workshops to our students.

We now wish to add further high calibre experienced professionals to our team of Part-time Hourly Lecturers. We are particularly eager to expand our pool of industry experienced staff who could deliver expertise in one or more of the following specialisms;

  • Nuke compositing, (especially integration of 3D into plates);
  • Maya, from introductory modelling to rendering, (preferably with experience of photo-real outputs).
  • Film criticism (especially around CGI/VFX theoretical discourses)
  • Houdini

We are a select course which prides itself on developing individuals who may take their skills to a variety of destinations. As you are most likely an industry professional we try to be flexible about delivery of the sessions as far as possible within our curriculum restraints, and in return expect innovative teaching strategies from you to get the best out of our students.

Salary: £37.36 per teaching hour
