Lecturer/Senior Lecturer: Architecture (Technology)

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Architecture who will coordinate the technology strand of the curriculum across the three year groups of the undergraduate programme. The successful candidate will design and deliver technology workshops, lectures and seminars to an appropriate level for Part 1 education.

In addition (depending on any negotiated fractional employment), you will act as a year tutor, organise site visits, and deliver design teaching as required. You will work with the Course Leader to ensure skills are developed through integrated design and technology projects.

Ideally you will be an architect with experience of architectural practice and teaching at University level. You will be able to show a substantial engagement with technology through your own practice and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of student learning through the design of taught sessions and supporting material.

The postholder will have a proactive approach to curriculum design, organisation, delivery and assessment, strong team working skills and an ability to contribute to the management of the course in collaboration with the Course Leader and team. The appointment will be made at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level dependant on the successful candidate’s experience.

Salary: Lecturer: £32,548 to £38,833 per annum/ Senior Lecturer: £39,992 to £47,722 per annum
