We are seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to play a key role in all aspects of our Finance Department.
The postholder will be primarily responsible for processing financial information relating to purchase ledger, payments and payroll, with a particular focus on accuracy as well as speed. In addition, you will provide occasional diary and appointment management duties for the Director of Finance and Planning, as well as providing cover for other finance tasks.
Candidates will have experience within a similar role, be used to liaising with other colleagues are various levels and have excellent IT skills including knowledge of computerised accounting systems. The successful candidate will be able to prioritise their work effectively to meet strict deadlines and work flexibly as part of a small team.
Experience of using an on-line purchase order and invoice approval system would be a distinct advantage.
You will be educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent standard and ideally be AAT qualified or equivalent.
