The Printmaking Workshops provide an extensive range of specialist resources for creating, developing and producing high quality images onto paper and other substrates using silkscreen, relief and intaglio processes with their associated traditional and digital techniques.
The successful candidate will be a skilled Technician with proven professional experience of professional working practices relating to printmaking using a wide variety of processes to produce high quality output from conception through to final prints gained from either a Higher Education or a commercial environment.
Experience of planning, preparing and delivering technical inductions and technical instruction classes to students will be an advantage to meet important elements of the role.
The post holder will join a team operating busy workshop environments, taking responsibility for the operation and routine maintenance of professional equipment for printmaking.
