Evening and Saturday Technician – Architecture and Interior Design

To assist us in driving our strategic and creative vision forward, the University is now seeking to appoint a skilled individual to support the delivery of an inclusive learning environment for our Architecture & Interior Design students.

Located in our RIBA award winning Boardman House building, NUA’s technical resources for Architecture and Interior Design include large format printers, laser cutters, 3D printers, model making facilities and high specification PC labs running a variety of professional CAD software.

Working closely with the Workshop Manager, technical colleagues, and academic teams, the postholder will support technical aspects of learning and teaching activity, including students’ individual, group and collaborative projects.

The successful applicant will be an adaptable, innovative, and pro-active team player who can use their knowledge of digital and non-digital processes to help our students bring their ideas to life in 2D and 3D formats.

We are looking for a skilled, committed, and responsible individual with experience, knowledge, and competency in one or more of the areas mentioned above and with the ability to pick up new skills.

Candidates will ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or have equivalent experience in a similar role.

Salary: £12,626 to £14,031 per annum actual pay
