Student Union Administrator

The University’s Student Union has operated successfully for a number of years, representing over 2,300 students at Norwich University of the Arts. Throughout 2022-2023, the Union is undertaking a full review of its operation, leading to a detailed plan for how to grow over the next five years.

It is a very exciting time to be part of the Student Union team. We are small but are looking to grow and establish ourselves and are incredibly excited about our journey of development starting this year

We are seeking someone who will provide excellent support for our elected student officers, as well as ensuring the smooth running of the Student Union during the period of this contract.

You will be responsible for the coordination of all Students’ Union led activities and events, ensuring excellent administration and management of all aspects of union governance and supporting the student officers with their key priorities for the academic year.

This role will be of interest to someone who understands about working within a fast-paced, dynamic and exciting organisation and understands what a vibrant and exciting student experience is for students at the University.

We are looking for someone with the ability to coach and support significant groups of volunteers, staff and student officers to achieve success and are willing to support the successful candidate grow their knowledge and experience within Students’ Unions and the HE sector.

Please note the role is office based and we would expect the successful candidate to be based in the office in Norwich to be available to support the volume of in person activity, especially during term time.

This role is currently offered on a fixed term basis of 12 months, with the possibility of being extended.

Salary: £24,948 to £28,762 per annum
