The Batsford Prize is an annual award for students of fine art, applied art, fashion, illustration and children’s illustration.

Entrants responded to this year’s theme ‘Being Human’ and we are thrilled to announce that amongst the shortlist is Jo Lauren, MA Photography, Megan Stavaru, MA Textile Design, and Clarice Brown, BA (Hons) Textile Design.

The entries were judged by industry professionals Neil Dunnicliffe, Vaughan Grylls, Emily Haworth-Booth, Cas Holmes, Frances Moffatt, Sara Mulvanny and Tina Persaud. The winners and runners up for each category will be announced in May, along with the winner of the Cass Art Award.
