NUA ranked by The Rookies in World’s Top 50 Creative Schools

Norwich University of the Arts is delighted to be ranked in the 2020 Top 50 Creative Media & Entertainment Schools and Colleges in the World by The Rookies. The university’s high ranking is thanks to BA (Hons) Games Art and Design being ranked as 16th in the league for Best Concept Art & Illustration Schools in the World 2020.

The Rookies’ rankings focus on the quality of student portfolios that are submitted from around the world to the independent judging panel. 

Over 500 international creative schools, colleges and universities submitted their student work to the 2020 awards and were reviewed by industry professionals.

Senior Lecturer Nigel Potter, who teaches concept art, comments “As one of the only Games courses to offer concept art as an option, it’s fantastic to be the only UK institution ranked in the league for Best Concept Art & Illustration.

It’s testament to the dedication and investment teaching staff feel towards students’ futures, and the work being produced which is increasingly high standard.”
