NUA Lecturer’s work features in London Exhibition
A study of former-racing greyhounds by NUA photography lecturer Katy White has featured in Photofusion’s SELECT/17 exhibition.
Katy’s study considers the animals as individuals and questions the commonly held assumptions about them.
Her work using the wet-plate collodion process and applying the conventions of human portraiture has been described as a “fresh example of contemporary documentary practice.”
The annual exhibition at the gallery in Brixton showcases the work of three artists who were chosen from its members’ show in December 2016 to receive a bursary and develop a project.
