NUA academic’s book “one of the year’s best”
A book by Senior Lecturer Les Bicknell has been picked as one of the year’s top 10 artists’ books of the year.
Using a known to make an unknown by Les Bicknell has been picked as one of best artists’ books of 2017 by Sarah Bodman, artist and editor of the Artist’s Book Yearbook and The Blue Notebook journal.
Through 2017, Les has been artist-in-residence at the Centre for Doctoral Training in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Cambridge University exploring the connection between science and art.
His latest work considers the manipulation of matter and making the ‘invisible visible’.
