Multiple graphics graduates win at YCN Student Awards
Graduates from 2016 graphic courses at NUA have been recognised in the prestigious ‘YCN’ Student Awards 2015/16. The awards which started in 2001, celebrate emerging ‘creative excellence’ in the UK student talent pool. BA (Hons) Graphic Design graduate Darta Losane and BA (Hons) Graphic Communication joint team Robin Barnes and Mark Ng won in the Italian paper ‘Fedrigoni’ category where students responded to a brief to design promotional materials creatively using paper for Fedrigoni’s new retail space. Graphic Design graduate Sarah Bloomfield won in the ‘Fever-Tree’, premium drink category. Sarah responded to a brief set by Fever Tree, asking students to design chic limited edition bottles whilst raising money for Malaria No More UK. The graduates will be invited back for an awards ceremony in autumn 2016 in East London’s Barbican Centre to celebrate their prize winning entries.
