Graphic Design alumni Tim Wilcox wins Cannes Young Lions Award 2022

Cannes Young Lions is a global competition that encourages young creatives to team up and tackle real world briefs and problems.

BA (Hons) Graphic Design graduate Tim Wilcox and friend Rosie Bottomley won the Cannes Young Lions Award for their project ‘All Informed’.

Tim, a graphic designer at the global creative agency JKR, met Rosie at a design social through a mutual friend. “We instantly clicked,” said Tim, “and we jumped at the chance to work together on this project, as we’d never done it before!”.

Their project centred around the Advertising Association and their annual survey ‘all in’. The survey encourages creatives within the industry to respond to a series of questions to drive positive change.

“We wanted to focus on highlighting change and expanding on the ‘All In’ name to tell more stories,” said Tim. “Visually, we wanted to show how their opinions could shape the future.”
