Graduate creates designs for Anthropologie featured on Netflix series
After exhibiting at New Designers as part of her time at NUA, graduate Siobahn Palmer was approached by Anthropologie USA, an international fashion and interiors retailer, to produce a collection of designs for a series of luxury tea towels. The designs featuring humorous and detailed illustrations of animals were digitally printed with embroidery detail, with the illustrations originating from hand painted drawings. The tea towels were a best seller and featured within Anthropologie’s Spring/Summer look book as well as being sold by Selfridges, London, Anthropologie’s flagship store in Chelsea and in various luxury department stores in the USA. The designs were also featured on 2017 Netflix series Love, created by renown writer and producer Judd Apatow (Girls, Superbad, Anchorman).
