"Choosing the winning entries was extremely difficult in both age categories. In the under 16 category, Emily Parsons’ images show a beautiful play of light of shade. There’s a consistency across her work; the images remain playful despite what could have easily become and overpowering use of black and white. In the over 16 category, Oleg’s pictures stood out to the judges from the very start. The use of colour and tone with warm light separating the model from the colder background has produced a cinematic image."
