Dr George Themistokleous
George is an architect, media artist and lecturer in History and Theory and Architectural Design, and director of para-sight, an interdisciplinary spatial practice that operates between media, art, and architecture. George’s research explores the spatiotemporal environments of the digitised body and the changing role of the subject via assemblages of older and emerging visual media, including custom-made devices and participatory multimedia installations. With his specialism in architecture design, digital architecture, and an interdisciplinary approach to teaching and research, he will contribute to the future direction and curriculum of the Architecture courses.
