I approach my love of photography with mischief, humour and focus. Immersing myself in the subject matter, whatever that may be at any particular time. My passion is never-ending, and results in extremely considered and aesthetically pleasing images. Natural light plays a large part in my photography, and I embrace the beauty to be found in almost every situation.

Striving to capture the unfolding story in imagery, through my documentary photography skills is my goal. The unexpected glance, action or movement can disclose the essence of a story.

An excellent photographer should be magically invisible; I believe I have achieved this, and consistently demonstrate my ability through the diverse range of captured images seen in my portfolio. Viewers are invited to jump into my photographs and to experience the sense of the moment as if they were actually there.

My travel photography experience is extensive, and many images have been used in online brochures, travelogues and professional travel books.

I am Photographer in Residence at Jimmy Doherty’s farm, which is frequently featured on television, and have just completed a photographic documentary entitled ‘A year in the life of Jimmy’s Farm’. The images can be seen at www.jimmysfarm.com.

I am pleased to announce that I have been formally accepted onto a PhD Degree course, which begins in October 2012 at University Campus Suffolk. My Journey of discovery continues…

Thank you.
