On Thursday 30 January with the help of Chancellor John Hurt CBE the University celebrated the launch of its 170th Anniversary celebrations which will span the academic year from September 2014 – September 2015 and will include a year of events celebrating the past and embracing the future of NUA. Norwich University of the Arts hosts an evening symposium and exhibition of staff and student work to celebrate Norwich Fashion Week. Invited speakers Juliana Sissons, who was Fashion Designer in Residence at the V&A in 2010, and Patrick Ian Hartley, designer of unique, bespoke face corsets and neckwear, will discuss their own approach to craft and creativity and take part in a panel discussion on the subject. The event takes place on from 5.30pm-8pm on Wednesday 12 March 2014.)
The Gallery at NUA presents a solo show of photographic images by Noah Da Costa. The show will be open to the public from 21 January until 1 March.
