Childwise

Information graphic

Background

Childwise makes sense of media coverage for their clients by translating the coverage into data, graphs and then insights. The data on children and teenagers is invaluable for brands consumed or purchased by 5-16 year olds. With increased legislation on marketing to children in-store and on TV, other forms of media have become even more interesting to advertisers.

Brief

Design information graphics which bring to life the analysis of a complex set of data.

Solution

A total of five concepts were presented to Childwise, all with a different visual style. Bright colours reflect the energy of children and icons were created to demonstrate the various media types. The winning route was inspired by the London tube map and uses coloured lines to signify the different media. Iconography used to represent the media types was drawn up specifically.
