This week, NUA students got involved in SynctheCity 2015, along with Senior Lecturer in Graphic Communication, Nigel Aono Bilson. Robin Barnes, Mark Ng, Peter Abbott and Jonathan Leonard, were a creative powerhouse. Peter Abbot, ran his own project/ product pitch and presented the final pretype to the judges, which received interest and praise. The team that Nigel was design lead for: docdirect the NHS initiative, as seen in the EDP, won the the Peoples Prize – there has already been some further interest in this initiative from the NHS and government sources. The organisers welcomed NUA participation. This year the SynctheCity grew out from the Tech community, to being an event which engaged a wider, and very motivated audience.
