Campus Resources

Your studio space will be in the St Georges Building where you will also have access to the textile print and dye workshops (screenprinting, heat presses and dye kitchen).

In the constructed textiles workshop you’ll make use of digital sewing, embroidery and knitting machines, spinning wheels, smocking machines, tapestry frames, digital and table top looms, digital printers and a Mimaki TX2 digital fabric printer.

Design hardware, software and laser cutters are available in the digital design workshops and you’ll also make use of the Media Resource Centre to borrow digital cameras, lights and other filming equipment and the Drawing Studio for life drawing.


Textile Print & Dye Workshop

Long print tables, with repeat furniture, for screenprinting fabric lengths, heat presses, dye kitchen with steaming and washing facilities are included in the resources available here.

Equipped with the Adobe Creative Suite. AVA professional textile design software is available for taught delivery and individual use.
