You will have opportunities to work on joint projects between Graphic Design, Design for Publishing and Graphic Communication designed to establish the beginnings of collaborative practice, a skill that is so important to the industry you will be entering.
Norwich University of the Arts co-hosted the UK’s biggest touring exhibition, British Art Show 8 as part of the Hayward Touring programme from June – September 2016. Recognised as some of the very best of contemporary art in the UK, the exhibition was held in NUA’s St Georges Building, East GalleryNUA, Norwich Castle and Museum and The Forum presenting work from over forty artists including film, sculpture installation and painting and design. Alongside the exhibition, the BAS8 event programme presented a summer of free talks, workshops, roundtable discussions and performances open to the public including a talk with internationally renowned Graphic Designer, Fraser Muggeridge. Graphics alumni Miles Marshall (2009) and Matt Lurcock (2010) returned to the University to deliver a lecture on their work for Award-winning visual identity and packaging design agency Turner Duckworth, whose clients include Coca-Cola, Levi Strauss and Metallica.
