Former students are the University's most important ambassadors. All students automatically become members of the Alumni Network when they graduate.
The Alumni Network
There are many benefits to being part of the Alumni Network including:
- Careers Advice Appointments and Workshops
NUA offers free careers advice to alumni for up to three years after graduation or with an Alumni Card.
Published twice a year, NUA's Alumni Magazine brings you up-to-date news and developments from the University as well as news on your fellow alumni.
If you would like to organise your own reunion we can help you find a venue and accommodation. We can also forward invites to lost friends on your behalf and publicise the event for you. In return we would love to hear how the event went and receive photos for our Alumni Magazine.
- Further Study at NUA
If you are thinking of continuing your studies or furthering your career with an MA, all NUA graduates receive a £500 discount on course fees for all taught MA degrees. Find out more about Postgraduate courses at one of our Open Days.
The Alumni Card
Graduates of Norwich University of the Arts (or any of our former institutions) can apply for an Alumni Card, regardless of when they graduated. An Alumni Card costs £25, is valid for three years and will give you access to the following:
- Access to the Careers Service
- NUA Intranet remote access
- Use of the computer facilities in the Duke Street building
- Access to the NUA Bar
- Membership of the University's Library (for reference use only - excludes access to slide library)
- NUA Alumni Friends Membership at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts for the special price of £20 per year and take a friend for free
- Reduced Cinema City Membership
Graduate Mentoring programme
Our Graduate Mentoring programme is now in its fifth year and offers students graduating from the University the opportunity to receive career guidance, insight into the creative industries and advice on how they can get started in their chosen field. We are looking for graduates who are interested in becoming mentors and can offer the benefit of their own experience to help a new graduate start their own professional career. For more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Events and Networking
Alumni events are a great way to meet up with old friends and find out about developments taking place at the University. Events include pub nights, networking, reunions and the annual End of Year Exhibitions. NUA issues a monthly list that allows graduates to advertise events and exhibitions they are participating in. Promote your own events or subscribe to the mailing list by emailing email@example.com.
